Katherine and Chris’s Noah Liff Opera Center Wedding was one of the most beautiful occasions that we’ve had the blessing to be a part of. From the snow that fell that day to the beaming bride, every detail was perfect. If you’ve followed us for any time, you know that we place a huge emphasis on the bride’s perspective. It is the most important determining factor in the outcome of any wedding day. Katherine embodied this.
Imagine planning your wedding day to perfection in a city that gets an annual snowfall percentage of 7 inches. Now image that city has a record shattering storm the day before your wedding is to take place and dumps 11 inches in your town, and doubles that total in the city where many of your guests are travelling from. That’s what happened to Katherine and Chris.
Winter storm Jonas blew through in January of 2016. And while Mother Nature kept over 150 of the guests away for this ceremony and reception, the bride’s frame of mind made the day what it was. Katherine was excited about one thing… marrying Chris. And though the storm stopped many things from happening on this weekend, it wasn’t able to prevent that. And it also provided these incredible snowy photos that will be cherished forever by the bride and groom.
We hope you enjoying these photos as much as we enjoyed being a part in this wedding.
